Share | Exhaust flanges are made from beefy 1/2" thick steel plate (50-100% thicker then most others) and ground flat. Thick 14-gauge tubing is used instead of ordinary 16 or 18-gauge. Tubes are precision TIG welded to the flange. A special Electroless nickel plating is used inside and out. This is twice as durable as stainless steel. All TOG headers are emission compliant (legal) in 50 states and are covered by California Air Resources Board (CARB) Exemption No. D-509 We also offer an optional titanium-thermal-barrier ceramic coating on the headers for additional heat protection of nicer appearance. NOTE: The installation of these headers require some welding to shorten the downpipe, otherwise they bolt right up.
